30-day returns and 12-month hardware warranty on every device.
30-Day Returns
You have the right to return any item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, no questions asked. This is in accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
To be eligible for a return, the device must be returned in the same condition as received — with all included accessories, cables and packaging where possible.
How to Return
- Contact us by email at hello@nicomputers.co.uk or by phone on 028 9024 1234 with your order number
- We will arrange a free collection from your address, or you can drop the item in at our Belfast store
- Once we receive and inspect the device, your refund will be processed
Refund Timescales
Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 30 days of us receiving the returned item. In practice, we aim to process refunds within 2–3 working days of receipt. Bank processing times vary.
12-Month Hardware Warranty
Every device sold by NI Computers comes with a 12-month hardware warranty from the date of purchase. If a hardware defect develops under normal use during this period, we will repair or replace the device at our discretion at no cost to you.
What the Warranty Covers
- Hardware failures — motherboard, CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, display, keyboard, trackpad
- Defects in components not caused by the customer
- Any hardware issue that arises under normal, everyday use
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
- Accidental damage — drops, cracks, broken screens or hinges caused by the customer
- Liquid damage — any ingress of liquid, regardless of quantity
- Third-party software issues — viruses, software conflicts or problems arising from software installed after purchase
- Cosmetic wear — scratches, scuffs or marks that do not affect functionality
- Unauthorised repairs — devices that have been opened or modified by anyone other than NI Computers
Battery Warranty
Batteries are warranted for 3 months from the date of purchase. Batteries are a consumable component — their capacity naturally degrades over time and this is not covered after the initial 3-month period. If a battery fails within the first 3 months, we will replace it free of charge.
How to Claim Warranty

- Provide your order number and a description of the issue
- We will advise on whether to bring the device to our Belfast store or arrange a courier collection
- We aim to diagnose and repair or replace within 5 working days of receiving the device
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You are entitled to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a product is faulty within 30 days of purchase, you are entitled to a full refund. Between 30 days and 6 months, we have the right to attempt one repair or replacement before a refund is required.
